Southern Pines

HomeSchool Horse Club

The Original HomeSchool Horse Club in St Augustine!

Our HomeSchool Horse Club provides a safe and fun environment for your child to explore and learn more about horses. This club is packed with hands-on, horse-based learning!  We operate on a semester basis and a typical class consists of 8 students. Our two-fold curriculum focuses on safe foundational riding skills and a cumulative barn/classroom experience. Students will participate in horse focused STEM activities that build as we progress. SPE HSHC (Southern Pines Equestrian HomeSchool Horse Club) works on building educational skill sets that are based in horse science, barn management and hands-on activities. All with an emphasis on socialization with others and horses in a safe outdoor learning environment.  AND if you ask the students, they will say it's just FUN!

Interacting with horses is a great way for your child to learn boundary-setting, respect, and calmness. It will also grow his/her confidence, self-control , and sense of responsibility.
